WSOP 2026: In the Money at the Main Event – Chris Moneymaker among the Bubble Boys

On the Bubble, Day 4 of the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em World Championship Main Event of the World Series of Poker 2026 started at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas, and by the end, the field had shrunk to 533 players – and many dreams were shattered.With 1,389 players and 1,382 paid spots, the Bubble kicked off immediately. Chance Kornuth was among those who would leave empty-handed. The Stone Bubble lasted as usual; however, no player ended up going out empty-handed, as three players had to leave.Stoyan Madanzhiev flipped poorly with against from Gregory Brown, with the board being . Chris Moneymaker called all-in on the board with , and Antonio Vargas showed , meaning Chris had to leave as well. Dan Stavila eliminated Zhaken Seitbekov with on the board , with Zhaken holding , and thus the three players split $1,000 twice. The Bubble Boy in the Main Event always receives a ticket for the next year. The three players went for a flip, and it was Zhaken Seitbekov who had the card luck on his side.With the money bubble burst, everyone secured $1,000, and the big cleanup could begin. The field shrank to 553 players, and many DACH players had to wave goodbye.Manuel Fritz, Stefan Peukert, Rene Knapp, Max Menzel, Max Petzelberger, and Andreas Staschewski each took home $1,000, while Christopher Frank, Jessica Vierling, Erik Eisen, Philipp Hofbauer, Paul Esau, and Fabio Muhr cashed out at $1,500. Hannes Jeschka collected $1,500, and Simon Devey took $1,000.Sasha Liu, who led the field into Day 4, lost the chip lead but secured a good position for Day 4 with 2,340,000 chips. Sam Sweilem took the lead with 3,800,000 chips, while Hossein Ensan remains strong with 2,580,000. Felix Kümayr is also in the mix, although he had to give up some chips to defending champion Michael Mizrachi, but he is back in contention with 3,100,000 chips.The rest can be seen in the Chip Counts
