WSOP 2026: Michael Mizrachi enters the Main Event

Two of the four flights of the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em World Championship Main Event at the World Series of Poker 2026 in Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas have been played, bringing the total number of entrants to 1,810 so far.Day 1B featured the same conditions as usual – 60,000 chips and five 120-minute levels. During this time, 1,038 players entered, bringing the current total to 1,810. Many well-known names were back at the tables, including defending champion Michael Mizrachi who started yesterday. The first seat open occurred again in Level 1, again involving aces. This time, however, it was Shraga Vrubel’s that were nearly destroyed by Stephen Lee’s flopped set of 7s; however, the board came giving Vrubel the flush, and thus Lee had to be the first to go. The number of German-speaking players was significantly higher, including Tom Kunze, Pierre Mothes, Jürgen Heidl, Leonard Hermann, Konstantin Held, Nils Pudel, Fabian Gumz, Sigi Friedel, Matthias Auer, Stefan Kiwisch, Claudio Müller, Karim Ghozlani, and the Luxembourgian Sihao Zhang. International stars like Kenny Hallaert, Greg Raymer, Kevin Martin, Antonio Esfandiari, Brad Owen, Sergi Reixach, Mike Matusow, Mateusz Moolhuizen, and many more also participated.By the end of the five levels, nearly a quarter of the players had already encountered “seat open” again, with 761 players packing it in. The counts will follow as always ASAP.
