Seven players remain in the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em 6-handed (#73) at the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas. Oliver Weis starts the final from 2nd position, while Daniel Rezaei is the short stack.Oliver WeisWith 60 of the 1,402 entries remaining, yesterday was day 3, featuring four Germans and one Austrian among them. Daniel Smiljkovic finished in 37th place ($1,058) when his Jacks ran into Kings. Shortly after, Timo Kamphues (35th/$1,292) also hit the rail. Erik Eisen was also among the short stacks but managed to double up right away and was doing well. In a 3-way pot, he took the chips from Jeremy Dan with against Dan’s and Xiaoyao Ma’s on the board , before later flipping poorly with against Andrew Lichtenberger’s deuces. The board saw Erik Eisen exit in 17th place for $1,729.Jesse Lonis, Josh Arieh (Queens < AK), Jon Kyte, and many other well-known players also had to leave. With 16 players left, the dinner break began, and Oliver Weis and Daniel Rezaei easily made it to the last two tables, which started with only eleven players. Andrew Lichtenberger hit the rail in 12th place when his Jacks had to go against Jordan Glazer's and the King on the river.Daniel Rezaei managed to double up as a short stack with Tens against chipleader Xiaoyao Ma's , giving him a bit of breathing room, while Oliver Weis was playing for the chiplead. The day ended with seven players remaining, with Markus Gonsalves in the lead with 17,150,000 chips, clearly ahead of Oliver Weis with 13,400,000. Daniel Rezaei is the short stack but still has some room with 26 BBs. All have already secured $1,287, while the winner will take home $1,655,
