WSOP 2026: Jeff Madsen wins the $1,500 Dealers Choice

Jeff Madsen has won the $1,500 Dealers Choice at the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas. This marks the fifth bracelet of his career.The $1,500 Dealers Choice (Event #20) of the WSOP 2026 started Day 3 with ten players. During the third blind level, there was a redraw. Shortly thereafter, Robert Klein ($1,137) was eliminated as the official final table bubble boy.It took until the sixth blind level for the next player to be eliminated. In Badugi, Kelvin Zhao ($1,766) made perfect 9-5 but lost to Clayton Mozdzen, who was dealt .In a Stud 8 hand, Clayton Mozdzen ($1,588) was eliminated. Jeff Madsen drew trips of 8s, while Mozdzen didn’t get past a pair and neither player hit a low. Dario Sammartino ($1,383) was eliminated in Badeucy, holding at showdown and losing to Madsen, who held and won both the Badugi and Deuce-to-Seven pots.In the eighth blind level, it went heads-up. Luteng Li ($1,042) was all-in in Big O with against Philip Wess’s but missed the board .

The heads-up lasted about 30 minutes. In Pot-Limit Double Draw High, Philip Wess ($1,341) went all-in with a flush draw against Jeff Madsen’s queens. Wess missed the flush, while Madsen ($1,057) hit the trips and became the winner.
