WSOP 2026: Philip Sternheimer in Day 2 of the small Dealers Choice

The $1,500 Small Dealers Choice 6-handed Event #20 of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas has kicked off. $1,057 awaits the winner at the end, but as of now, there are still 132 out of 656 players remaining.The Mixed Games events are popular, and with a lower buy-in, large fields are typical. A total of 656 entries generated a prize pool of $1,840, with the top 99 places receiving payouts. As usual, many had to say goodbye during Day 1, and after 15 levels, only 132 players remain. Chip counts and payouts are currently available only in the app. Philip Sternheimer is listed in 57th place (127k), making him the only German in Day 2. The chip leader is Jose Velador with 366,000, followed by Tobias Leknes with 324k.The first goal in Day 2 is to reach the top 99 paid positions, ensuring a payout of $1,009. The winner will take home $1,057.
