The $50k Championship at the Poker Masters in Las Vegas will resume with seven players remaining. Austria’s Marius Gierse leads the field.
The $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em Championship was the final event on the schedule at the 2026 Poker Masters at ARIA Las Vegas. A total of 22 players entered, with nine re-entries bringing the prize pool to $1.55 million.
Nick Schulman, Sam Soverel, Jesse Lonis, Alex Foxen and David Coleman were among those eliminated before the end of the day. Serial bubble boy Adrian Mateos also bowed out well before the money.
Marius Gierse built his stack throughout the final blind level of the day, sending Joao Simao, Brandon Wilson and Chino Rheem to the rail. With 1.19 million chips, the Austrian leads the field ahead of Sam Laskowitz (995,000) and Jeremy Ausmus (945,000).
Seven players will return for the final day, but only five will finish in the money. The minimum payout is $124,000, while the winner will take home $620,000. Chris Brewer is the short stack, but with 27 big blinds, he still has room to manoeuvre.
