Ten High-Roller Tournaments: PokerGO Tour brings the Poker Masters back to Las Vegas

The PokerGO Tour (PGT) returns to Las Vegas from October 12 to 23, 2026: The 2026 Poker Masters will feature ten high-stakes No-Limit Hold’em events with buy-ins ranging from $10,500 to $51,000. The tournaments will be played at the PokerGO Studio at the ARIA Resort & Casino.

The Poker Masters is one of the most prestigious high-stakes tournament series on the international poker calendar. The festival begins on October 12 with the first $10,500 No-Limit Hold’em event. Six tournaments in this buy-in category are scheduled through October 17. After a break on Sunday, the action resumes on October 19 with two events, each with a $15,700 buy-in. The stakes then rise further: Event #9 is a $26,000 No-Limit Hold’em tournament, before the grand finale begins on October 22 with a $51,000 buy-in. The winner of the final tournament will be decided on October 23.

The Poker Masters isn’t just about winning individual tournaments. All ten events count toward a combined leaderboard, where players earn PGT points based on their results. Whoever has the most points at the end wins the title of Poker Masters Champion and gets to wear the famous Purple Jacket. In addition, the overall winner receives a PGT Passport worth $25,000. This credit can be used for tournaments organized by the PokerGO Tour itself.

The Poker Masters was launched in 2017 and quickly became a major stage for high-stakes poker. German player Steffen Sontheimer emerged victorious at the inaugural event. In the years that followed, Ali Imsirovic, Sam Soverel, Michael Addamo, Sean Winter, and Stephen Chidwick, among others, won the Purple Jacket. In 2024, the overall title went to Jim Collopy, who impressed with four cashes without winning a single tournament. In 2025, David Coleman came out on top. He racked up three paid finishes and finished the series ahead of Alex Foxen.

The Poker Masters is part of the PokerGO Tour (PGT), which launched in 2021 and compiles results from select high-stakes tournaments into a season-long leaderboard. The tour features various well-known formats, including the U.S. Poker Open, the PokerGO Cup, the PGT PLO Series, and the Super High Roller Bowl. Poker fans can watch the 2026 Poker Masters live from Las Vegas via the PokerGO streaming service.
