Grand Casino Lucerne: The 40th Poker Circle Swiss Open is Coming Up

The Poker Circle Swiss Masters will make their debut in December. Until then, however, there’s still plenty of poker action at the Grand Casino Luzern, and tomorrow, September 30, the 40th edition of the Poker Circle Swiss Open kicks off with a CHF 500 + 50 Main Event.

PCSOThe summer edition of the PCSO recently drew 422 entries, proving once again that the event is one of the most popular in Switzerland. The 40th edition of the PCSO also features a buy-in of CHF 500 + 50, with Day 1A on Wednesday being rake-free. As always, there will be 40,000 chips and 40-minute levels in the two regular flights on Thursday and Friday. Day 1A tomorrow will have 30-minute levels, while the Turbo Heat on Saturday before Day 2 will be played with 15-minute levels. Day 2 will then have 50-minute levels, and the final on Sunday will have 60-minute levels. The winner can look forward not only to a hefty prize pool but also to a wild card for the Poker Circle Swiss Masters.

In addition to the Main Event, there will, as always, be satellites and side events, with the CHF 350 + 50 Mini PCSO on Saturday and Sunday standing out in particular. This event features 40,000 chips and 30-minute levels in both flights, while the final will be played with 40-minute levels.

While the tournaments will be held, as always, in the Panorama Hall, there’s also plenty of space on the gallery for cash games. As always, registration for the tournaments via buy-in.info is recommended; further information about the (poker) offerings can be found at grandcasinoluzern.ch.
