The Circus Casino Resort Namur has already successfully hosted nine festivals this year, with four more to come. Today marks the start of the Belgian Poker Challenge Megastack Edition. €500,000 is guaranteed for the festival, with €300,000 of that going to the €400 Main Event.
The €400 BPC Megastack Main Event (€300,000 GTD/100k/40′) doesn’t start until Saturday; before that, the €200 Mini Main Event (€30,000 GTD/50k) will provide some variety. Day 1A today features 20-minute levels, Day 1B tomorrow will have 30-minute levels, and Day 1C on Saturday, before Day 2, will feature fast-paced 15-minute levels. Day 2 and the final on Saturday and Sunday will be played with 40-minute levels.
The Main Event is truly impressive and offers plenty of fun. But the side events are also worth checking out. With reasonable buy-ins, lucrative guarantees, and a varied week of action, Namur is a great destination. The Main Event runs from Sunday to Sunday, with the final flights taking place on Thursday. On Friday, Day 2, late registration will also be open for one level. Day 3 on Saturday will feature 50-minute levels, just like the final on September 27.
In addition, the second weekend features some truly major highlights: the €300 Freezeout (€25,000 GTD/100k/30–40′) and the €1,100 High Roller (€100,000 GTD/250k/30′).
As always, cash games start at €2.5/€2.5 NLH and €5/5 PLO. Details on the full (poker) lineup and the option to buy tickets can be found at circus-poker.com, where you’ll also find the live coverage as always—the password is “poker.”
