Felix “xflixx” Schneiders and his GRND community are returning to the Grand Casino Aš (GCA) for the eleventh time. From November 4 to 15, the event is titled “GRND Live XI – This is the way.” A whopping €450,000 in prize money awaits, along with plenty of community action, of course.
The GRND community has long since outgrown Cologne and taken the German-speaking world by storm. The festivals at the GCA have grown right along with it, and GRND Live XI marks the largest joint festival to date. Over twelve days, there will be plenty of poker action—as always, for a small buy-in.
Of course, classics like the Kroko Cup, Snowman Special, Hot PKO, the GRND Cup, Seven Always Comes, and Seven Always Goes will all be featured. The first weekend features the €320 + 30 High Roller (€40,000 GTD/50k/30′) and the €100 + 40 + 20 Death Star GRND Mystery (€50,000 GTD/40k/30′).
The second week then moves on to the multi-flight tournaments. It kicks off with the €85 + 15 GRND Cup (€30,000 GTD/30k/25′), followed by the €180 + 20 GRND Main Event (€200,000 GTD/50k/30′). On top of that, there are countless GRND Live Specials that set the stage for a spectacular festival.
Of course, the livestreams are a must—Paul Panther will be in almost constant action with seven streams—and an additional Poker Talk Special on November 9. Those who can’t be there in person at the GCA can at least follow the action closely from home.
It all kicks off tomorrow, Wednesday, with the €40 + 20 + 10 Kroko Cup I (€10,000 GTD/50k/10′). Cash games will be played starting at blinds of €1/2 NLH and €2/2 PLO. You can find the latest updates on the GCA poker lineup in the Facebook group; full details are available at grandcasinoas.eu. By the way—with the €25 Blue All-in Experience, you essentially get a daily all-inclusive package: unlimited buffet, soft drinks, beer, wine, and coffee. Plus, you’ll earn points toward cash back. If you sign up for the GCA newsletter, you won’t miss any of the promotions.
