Eleven players, led by Todd Brunson, head into the final of the $1,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship (#67) at the 2026 World Series of Poker at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas.As with this $1k Championship Event, late registration was popular, resulting in a total of 176 entries. Philip Sternheimer and Hanh Tran represented German-speaking players on Day 2, with Philip falling short of the 27 money spots. The minimum cash was $1,229. Hanh Tran was eliminated in 19th place, just after Viktor Blom. The latter could not beat Michael Moncek’s 9-7 low and took 20th place ($1,273). Hanh was caught in a 3-way pot. Todd Brunson revealed 7-5-4-3-2 and scooped the pot against Bill Baxter and Hanh Tran. Hanh’s 19th place paid out $1,273.Todd Brunson secured a narrow lead for the final with 2,010,000 chips; the remaining eleven players have already locked up $1,255. The winner can look forward to $1,478 + Bracelet.
