WSOP 2026: Hanh Tran at the top of the $10k Limit Lowball Championship

57 players made it through day 1 of the $1k Triple Draw at the World Series of Poker 2026. Hanh Tran is currently in 3rd place, and Philip Sternheimer is also moving on.The $1,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship kicked off yesterday at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas. This event at WSOP 2026 is a freezeout. A total of 140 players registered on the first day, but late registration will still be available during the first blind level of day 2.For Calvin Anderson, David “ODB” Baker, Patrick Leonard, Luke Schwartz, Terrence Chan, Shaun Deeb, Mike Matusow, Chris Hunichen, John Hennigan, Christopher Vitch, as well as Max Kruse and Dennis Weiss, the race for the bracelet came to an early end.After ten blind levels, the day ended. Brian Tate ($1,000) from the USA leads ahead of his compatriot Andrew Yeh ($1,000). Hanh Tran sits in 3rd with $1,000. Philip Sternheimer goes into the next round with $1,000.
