WSOP 2026: Benny Glaser Leads, Phil Ivey Aiming for #12

The $1k Poker Players Championship of the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas is down to six players. Benny Glaser leads, and Phil Ivey is still in the hunt.Day 4 of the $1,000 Poker Players Championship (Event #60) of WSOP 2026 started with 15 players remaining. The first goal of the day was to reach the Final Table. Among those eliminated was Phil Hellmuth (14th place / $1,459).In the fifth blind level, a redraw took place. About an hour later, the first seat was cleared. In stud, Jason Mercier ($1,732) went all-in on the 5th street with | against Benny Glaser . Glaser turned over for Two Pair, and Mercier couldn’t improve.Originally, the play was to be reduced to five players, but three additional hours passed without any bust-outs, so six players bagged their chips. Benny Glaser (8.61 million) leads ahead of Maxx Coleman (5.57 million). Phil Ivey goes into the final stage with 5.14 million chips from 5th place.The Final Table looks impressive. The six finalists have a combined total of 31 bracelets. Phil Ivey is chasing his twelfth title, Benny Glaser aims for #9, and Josh Arieh is vying for his eighth WSOP gold. The winner awaits $1.34 million.
