WSOP: Solana, new TV partners, new shop and the new Poker Hall of Fame voting

With the World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2026, there are also some new developments. The new Poker Hall of Fame Voting Until now, only one person was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame each year. Some years there were exceptions, such as last year when Michael Mizrachi was exceptionally inducted after his historic success at the 50k Poker Players Championship and subsequent Main Event victory. However, there has always been criticism that having only one person per year is too little. Now a new voting procedure is being presented. Players can submit their proposals online, and the top 8 will be presented to the 33 living members of the Hall of Fame. Each can submit up to four proposals. If a candidate receives a 2/3 majority, they will be automatically inducted. If there is no majority, the candidate with the highest vote count will be chosen. Theoretically, it could also be that more than one candidate receives a majority, which would result in multiple candidates being inducted.
