WSOP 2026: Daniel Rezaei leads in the $50k NLH High Roller

Day 1 of the $1,000 High Roller at the World Series of Poker 2026 ended with 50 players. Daniel Rezaei from Austria amassed the most chips.The WSOP 2026 kicked off yesterday at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas with the $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller (Event #90). This tournament is scheduled for three days, with players allowed to register or re-enter during the first twelve blind levels.Ten levels were played on the opening day. A total of 131 entries and $1.22 million in prize money have already been collected. Daniel Rezaei is leading with 2.01 million chips going into the next round.Daniel Negreanu (11th/1.09 million) just missed the Top 10, while Isai Scheinberg (24th/780,000; photo) secured position 24. Other players advancing include Dietrich Fast (22nd/815,000), Manuel Fritz (21st/800,000), Sebastian Gähl (23rd/780,000), Josef Schusteritsch (25th/745,000), Hannes Jeschka (27th/705,000), Christopher Pütz (28th/700,000), and Samuel Mullur (44th/335,000).
