Shaun Deeb has won the $1,500 8-Game at the World Series of Poker 2026 in Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas.13 players returned for Day 3 of the $1,500 8-Game Mixed (Event #74) of the WSOP 2026. Shortly before the sixth blind level of the day, the final table was reached.

The table emptied quickly, and within an hour, it was down to heads-up play. In PLO, Jason Riesenberg ($1,840) went all-in against two players with . Shaun Deeb folded, but Dean Joe called with , hitting the turn , and the river changed nothing.Patrick Mahoney ($1,420) was eliminated in Stud 8. The American went all-in with low cards on the 3rd street against Shaun Deeb, but didn’t hit a low and couldn’t get past a pair of sevens at showdown. Deeb, however, made two pair.5th place went to Itsuko Yoroi ($1,570). The Japanese player was all-in in the Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw before the first draw against Shaun Deeb. Yoroi drew twice for two cards and made a 9-7 low, but lost to Deeb, who held an 8-7 low after three draws with five new cards.Blaz Zerjav ($1,230) was also eliminated in Triple Draw. The bracelet winner was all-in against Dean Joe after the first betting round. Joe drew three cards over two rounds and ended up with a T-9 low, while Zerjav drew twice for two and once for one card for a Jack-low.Then Fu Wong ($1,530) was eliminated in NLH. Wong went all-in pre-flop with , and Dean Joe called with , with the board coming .

The duel between the two lasted more than two hours. The lead changed multiple times, but in the end, Shaun Deeb came out on top. In the decisive hand, there was a 3-bet pot pre-flop in PLO.Deeb played with hitting the flop , Dean Joe ($1,570) went all-in with , and was called. The turn and river changed nothing, and Shaun Deeb was the winner. The American received a prize of $1,625 as well as the ninth WSOP Bracelet of his career.
