WSOP 2026: Andreas Michelmann leads the DACH players into Day 2

The final starting day of the $1k Mini Main Event of the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas concluded with 446 players. The most successful player from our region was Andreas Michelmann.The last starting day for the $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Mini Main Event (Event #72) at WSOP 2026 was on the schedule. A total of 5,908 more entries were combined. This brings the total entries to 12,560, equating to a prize pool of $1.05 million.Cash began at place 887. Nils Pudel ($1,000), Manuel Fischer ($1,000), Niklas Deimeier ($1,000), Phillip Bruns ($1,000), Alexandra Obrien ($1,000), Hossein Ensan ($1,000), Rolf Weisshaupt ($1,000), Joseph Noujeim ($1,100), Johannes Fischer ($1,100), and Joel Bondioni ($1,248) were among those who made it into the money.The most chips were collected by Czech player Zdenek Zizka (7.2 million). Also advancing were Andreas Michelmann (1.2 million), Leandro Dirlewanger (1.0 million), Philip Morsink (990,000), Amadeus Janotta (985,000), Tom Kunze (760,000), Frederic Durand, Huseyin Fidan (720,000), Matthias Habering (710,000), Marius Gierse (710,000), Claudio Muller (660,000), David Hagmann (495,000), and Philippe Argand (200,000).
