WSOP 2026: Daniel Negreanu in the Top 10 at the $1.5k Stud8

The $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo (#69) of the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas also delivered good numbers. GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu is in the Top 10, but Max Kruse and Andreas Krause also had a strong start.25,000 chips and 40-minute levels were the starting conditions, with 647 entries generating a prize pool of $1,892. The top 98 spots are paid, with $1,017 waiting as a min-cash. 15 levels were completed on Day 1, and the field has already been cut to a third. Only 148 players remain, led by Will Berry with 605,000 chips. Jon Kyte got off to a good start (4th with 285,500), and Daniel Negreanu is in 10th place with 243,500. Four German-speaking players made the cut, with Max Kruse leading the list once again with 152,000. Andreas Krause returns with 133,000, Sascha Manns with 71,500, and Swiss player Fabien Gun is short-stacked with 20,000.On Day 2, the first goal is to reach the money spots, and on Day 3, the winner will take home $1,276 and the bracelet.
