WSOP 2026: Michelle Chin takes down the bracelet in the $1,500 Lowball

Michelle Chin won the $1,500 Triple Draw at the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas. The American player took home $1,313 in prize money and earned her first bracelet.Twelve players returned for Day 3 of the $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw (Event #58) of WSOP 2026. In the fourth blind level, Alessio Isaia was eliminated in 8th place ($1,613), and the final table redraw took place.

In the very first hand, Oliver Tot ($1,165) was eliminated. The Slovakian went all-in against Daniel Strelitz with 8-6-5-2 after the second draw. Strelitz had made an 8-7-5 low after the first draw, and Tot drew an Ace.Before the next break, Sean Troha ($1,804) also hit the rail. The three-time bracelet winner was all-in against Michelle Chin before the final draw. Chin stayed pat, and Troha pondered but ultimately did not redraw T-8, only to see Chin show 8-7 low.After the blinds went up, Ian Pelz ($1,641) was eliminated. The American pushed all-in in a 3-way pot before the first draw and drew three cards, but only made a K-Q low. Nick Pupillo showed the perfect jack, but both the side and main pot went to Daniel Strelitz, who had made an 8-7 low.In a further blind level, Nick Pupillo ($1,458) packed up. The bracelet winner went all-in against Horacio Chaves before the first draw. Pupillo drew twice two cards and once one card, pairing a 6 (8-6-4-2) on the last draw, with Chaves taking down the pot with a pat T-8 low.During the eighth blind level of the day, they entered heads-up play. Horacio Chaves ($1,152) and Daniel Strelitz each exchanged two cards in the first round. Chaves went short-stacked all-in, drew twice, while Strelitz opted not to exchange any cards. The American showed 9-7-6-4-2, and Chaves turned over 8-7-6-2 and was dealt a Jack.

Daniel Strelitz initially expanded his lead, but Michelle Chin doubled up with 8-6 against 8-7. Strelitz pushed the American back against the wall again, but Chin then sprang back and took the lead.In the final hand, Daniel Strelitz ($1,504) went all-in before the draw. The two-time bracelet winner drew three, one, and finally two cards. Michelle Chin drew two cards in the first round and did not redraw 8-7-5-4-2. Strelitz showed 8-7-4, received a 3 and another 3, bringing the tournament to a close.
