WSOP 2026: Robert Cowen with a clear chip lead at the $50k PLO High Roller

No Glory for the German-speaking players in the $1,000 High Roller Pot Limit Omaha Event #55 of the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas. Robert Cowen is the massive chip leader among the final eight players, with $1,368,700 awaiting the winner.Late registration was still open on Day 2 for this tournament, and an additional 29 entries were added to the 81 from Day 1. With a total of 110 entries, the prize pool is $1,225,000, and the top 17 places were paid. Philip Sternheimer was among the competitors, along with Dennis Weiss and Klemens Roiter, but none made it into the money.The bubble phase lasted a long time, until Richard Gryko faced off with against from Yuri Dzivielevski, as the ace hit on the river.This secured all $1,002,800, which David Benyamine quickly claimed.GGPoker Ambassador Daniel Negreanu entered the day as a big stack but was eliminated in 11th place ($1,940) against Santosh Suvarna’s aces.Eight players have made it to the final, with Robert Cowen leading with 9,060,000 chips, but the competition is also very strong.
