WSOP 2026: Manfred Wolf finishes 8th in the Seniors Championship

The first starting day of the $1,000 Seniors event at the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas concluded with 795 players.The $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em Seniors Championship offers two starting days, and in each flight, players can make a re-entry. On Day 1A, there were 3,539 entries, creating a prize pool of $1.11 million.After ten blind levels, the field has shrunk to 795 participants. They will return today for Day 2A and fight for a spot in Day 3. The bracelet will be contested on Day 5.Italian player John Catena (795,000) leads the field, while Germany’s Manfred Wolf (372,000) sits in 8th place. Also well-positioned are Stefan Vogt (144,000), Viktor Pabst (142,500), Sacha Manns (127,500), Oliver Heidel (116,000), and Hakan Zengin (82,000).
