WSOP 2026: Benny Glaser leads the $10k Limit Hold’em Championship

Benny Glaser is leading the star-studded final table at the $1,000 Limit Hold’em Championship (#38) of the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas, with Gus Hansen also still fighting for the bracelet.It was a high-profile field at the Limit Hold’em Championship. The late registration on day 2 brought in many participants, ultimately reaching 121 entries that created a prize pool of $1,125,300. The initial battle was for the 19 money spots, which secured a $1,000 min-cash. Phil Hellmuth, Dan Cates, Patrick Leonard, Shaun Deeb, Michael Mizrachi, Brian Rast, and many more went home empty-handed, with Jeremy Trojand also missing out on a payout.Among the last 19, there were so many big names that it could have been a mega final table, but Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey ultimately missed the final. Phil Ivey fell victim to Jeremy Ausmus with and took 9th place. The remaining eight then took their seats at the final table, where Josh Arieh was the first to exit. With , he hit top pair on the flop , but Gus Hansen held the 7s. The turn and river didn’t improve his hand, leaving seven players remaining.Benny Glaser secured a narrow lead with 2,255,000 chips, while Gus Hansen sits in 3rd with 1,305,000. In total, there are 19 (!) bracelets at the final table, although Dylan Smith has none so far. Everyone is guaranteed $1,191, with the winner taking home $1,200 along with the bracelet.
