WSOP 2026: Martin Schamaun advances on Day 2 of the $1,500 PLO

61 players survived the first starting day of the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha at the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas.At WSOP 2026, the first of two starting days for the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha (Event #35) was on the schedule. 17 blind levels were played. During the first nine rounds, players were able to buy in or take up to two re-entries.There were 964 entries, creating a prize pool of $1.28 million. Cash was awarded starting from 145th place. Peyman Lüth ($1,026), Pedjman Hamie ($1,026), and Anton Jencik ($1,339) secured a cash.Qiang Xu (1.2 million) bagged the most chips, followed closely by Jason Zipfel (1.1 million) from the USA. Martin Schamaun (667,000) is in 9th place. Also advancing are Grzegorz Derkowski (14th/510,000) and Artur Koren (15th/503,000).
