WSOP 2026: Neugebauer, Sternheimer, Kruse, and Fröhli are in the mix for the $10k PLO Hi-Lo Championship

And yet another $1,000 Championship of the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas has kicked off, this time for Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or better. The field was more than halved on Day 1, and late registration is still open. Among others, Max Neugebauer, Philip Sternheimer, Max Kruse, and Andreas Fröhli are back for Day 2.

Ten levels were played as usual in a $1k Championship, and late registration is still open for two levels on Day 2. Last year, a new record was set with 386 entries. Philip Sternheimer took home $1,087 as the winner. This year, after Day 1, there are already 267 entries registered, however, despite many split pots, the field has been reduced to just 103 players over the ten levels.Christopher Carlson leads slightly with 462,500 chips ahead of Marco Johnson with 461,500. Max Neugebauer sits in 31st place with 195,500 chips, while Philip Sternheimer is well positioned for Day 2 with 161,500 chips. Andreas Fröhli (135,500) and Max Kruse (102,500) are also returning for Day 2.
