WSOP 2026: Michael Mizrachi goes for Bracelet #9 in the $10k Stud

The $1k Stud Championship of the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas heads to the final with eleven players. Michael Mizrachi is leading ahead of Chris Brewer.For Day 2 of the $1,000 Seven Card Stud Championship (Event #23) at WSOP 2026, 47 players returned from the starting day. However, registration was still open in the first round. An additional 33 newcomers joined, bringing the total entries to 130, exceeding last year’s number (127).The $1.21 million in prize money will be distributed among 20 players. John Hennigan, Phil Hui, Jennifer Harman, David Bach, Phil Ivey, Nick Guagenti, Gus Hansen, as well as Jeremy Trojand and Daniel Studer, were eliminated before reaching the money.In the sixth blind level of the day, the Money Bubble burst. David “ODB” Baker | and Robert Mizrachi were all-in on the 3rd Street against Jeremy Ausmus | and Ryutaro Suzuki XX|.Ausmus made a Two Pair by the 6th Street (Suzuki folded), Baker couldn’t get past Jacks, and Mizrachi held Nines at the end. Due to the chip stacks before the hand, Baker ended up as the Bubble Boy, and Robert Mizrachi ($1,472) was the first to cash.After eight blind levels, the day concluded. Michael Mizrachi (1.42 million) is in the lead ahead of Chris Brewer (1.30 million). Mizrachi is playing for his ninth WSOP bracelet. Overall, the finalists have collectively won 28 gold bracelets so far. Only Allen Kessler and Jason Kluska are playing for their first WSOP title.
