At WPT Australia at The Star Sydney Casino, another winner has been crowned. Adam Kharman prevailed in the $7,150 High Roller Event.
The World Poker Tour is in Sydney until the end of the month. With the $7,150 High Roller, the most exclusive tournament of the series has now been decided. Seventy‑two entries were collected. That put $449,904 up for grabs, split between the nine finalists.
Malcolm Trayner, who won the Aussie Millions Main Event earlier this year, was among the finalists. But another trophy wasn’t to be. The Australian finished 3rd for $63,534.
The win came down to Thomas Lee and Adam Kharman. Kharman prevailed and left with $140,579. He also picked up a seat worth $10,400 to the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. Runner‑up Thomas Lee collected $93,714.
