The first edition of the Assopoker Cup took place in November 2025 at the Campione d’Italia Casino and celebrated the 20th anniversary of Assopoker.com. Almost exactly one year later, the Assopoker Cup returns for its second edition from November 12 to 16. The tournament will be held in the PokerStars Live Room at the Campione d’Italia Casino. For the first time, the Assopoker Cup will also feature three side events.
The Main Event is a low-stakes tournament with a buy-in of €330 and a starting stack of 50,000 chips. As with the first edition, the tournament features a very comfortable structure, particularly starting on Day 2 with 40-minute levels and on the final day with 50-minute levels. On Day 1, the levels last 30 minutes. The tournament takes place on Thursday (Day 1A), Friday (Day 1B), and Saturday (Day 1C), starting at 6:00 p.m. each day. Registration is open until 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, on the second day.
Re-entries are allowed both on the same day and on the following days. Anyone who secures a chip stack at the end of a Day 1 advances directly to Day 2 and can no longer participate on the other Day 1 sessions. The Main Event prize pool will be boosted by at least a €50,000 Mystery Bounty bonus. The envelopes contain two Gold Passes, each worth €6,300, which can be redeemed for any live event on the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) or for the most important online tournaments on the Italian network. In addition, there are eight Silver Passes, each worth €2,300 for the PokerStars network, and €10,000 in cash prizes.
Participants can also look forward to three side events: The Asso Turbo, with a €150 buy-in, is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, at 9:00 p.m., while two events are expected on Sunday, November 15: the Asso Deep at 4:00 p.m. (€220 buy-in) and another Asso Turbo at 9:00 p.m.
The first Assopoker Cup drew 477 players. In the end, Russian player Konstantin Generalov secured the victory and prize money of €26,800. The PokerStars Live Campione page contains all the information about the Assopoker Cup. The PokerStars network features numerous satellites—known as “Assopoker Cup Sats”—that allow players to qualify for the Main Event. PokerStars is also offering four Club del Poker freerolls. The Assopoker Poker Club is offering freerolls as well.
