WSOP
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) was founded in 1970 at the legendary Binion’s Horseshoe Las Vegas. After playing at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino from 2005 to 2020, the event returned to the Strip in 2022, finding a new home at Bally’s. At the end of 2022, the resort was renamed, and now the WSOP takes place again at Horseshoe Las Vegas. 2024 marked another milestone in the history of the WSOP, as GGPoker acquired it for $500 million and will now lead the bracelet chase into a new era of online and live play.
