Banco: The Spring Polish Poker Cup Has Begun

Yesterday, May 18, the Banco Bratislava kicked off the Spring edition of the €150 Polish Poker Cup (€250,000 GTD). Jakub Rokicki secured the chip lead.By the weekend at the latest, the place will be packed again—as the many editions of the Polish Poker Cup have already shown. Those who don’t like it so crowded have to take one of the earlier flights, and 62 players already did just that yesterday. With 40,000 chips and 30-minute levels, the action got underway at the tables; the goal for the day was to make the money, which was set at 10% of the entries. In the end, six players remained, and the Poles were immediately able to celebrate taking the lead. Jakub Rokicki narrowly claimed the chip lead with 600,000 chips, ahead of Vlastislav Chladil with 599,000 chips.Today at 6:00 p.m., Day 1B begins, and it’s expected to be a bit quieter. Starting Wednesday, the Polish players will arrive, and numerous side events will provide plenty of variety. Cash games will be played daily starting at €1/3 NLH and €2/2 PLO, with various promotions. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Marketing Manager Jan Packa (English).
