Yesterday, November 2, the CAPT Innsbruck kicked off at Casino Innsbruck with the €300 + 30 Limit Seven Card Stud and the €300 + 30 NLH Classic.
In the €300 + 30 Limit Seven Card Stud event, the average age was high, but some younger players also tried their luck. The game was played with 10,000 chips and 25-minute levels; rebuys (10k) and add-ons (20k) were allowed. With 32 entrants, ten rebuys, and 28 add-ons remaining, the pot totaled a whopping €21,000, and the top 5 places were paid.
Stefan Eggenberger had to settle for the minimum cash prize of €1,680, after which the older players, Jens Vörtmann and Erwin Höld, were eliminated. In the intergenerational showdown, it was Philipp Hobauer who prevailed over Rainer Mühlberger; Rainer took home €5,460, while Philipp celebrated his home victory and €7,770 in prize money.
