In the final hand, González opened with K-K and called a 3-bet from Svoboda, who held
. The flop came A-6-9, giving Svoboda “top pair.” González called the continuation bet, and a 2 appeared on the turn. Svoboda then went all-in, and González called with his pocket kings. Only a king could have saved González, but another ace on the river sealed the title for Svoboda. González finished in second place and received €41,000.
