There were 702 entries in the €1,000 Mini Main Event (#4) at the WSOP Super Circuit at King’s Resort Rozvadov; Lukas Pazma leads 86 players into Day 2, with Sammy Truong in second place as the second-highest chip count.
The situation at the start of the day yesterday, October 31, was nearly disastrous. Only 201 entries had been recorded—with a prize pool guarantee of €1,000,000 and only two flights remaining.Day 1D and 1E were each played with 50,000 chips and 30-minute levels. The numbers yesterday turned out to be significantly better, but 217 and 284 entries, respectively, were still nowhere near enough to reach the guarantee. A total of 702 entries were ultimately recorded; after deducting the 15% fee, there’s only €850,000 left in the prize pool, but there’s still a hefty amount of extra money up for grabs.
The money was reached yesterday as well, with 33 and 43 players, respectively, finishing in the money and securing €2,020. On Day 1D, seven players were eliminated with the minimum cash prize, and on Day 1E, another eight.
26 and 35 players, respectively, successfully completed the flights, with Italian Demetrio Caminita securing Day 1D with 918,000 chips, while German player Sammy Truong reached 1,008,000 on Day 1E, placing him second in the overall standings behind Lukas Pazma, who had 1,308,000 chips. A total of 86 players successfully completed the flights and will return today for Day 2. The blinds are set at 5k/10k/10k, and the level duration has increased to 40 minutes. Everyone is already in the money; payouts will be distributed at the start of the day.
Today also marks the start of the €700 + 300 Mystery Bounty (€500,000 GTD), where players start with 40,000 chips and 30-minute levels. There are a total of three flights before Day 2 begins on Wednesday; the final is on Thursday. There are also plenty of satellites running again today. As always, cash games start with blinds of €1/2 NLH and €2/2 PLO. You can find all the information about the full lineup at kings-resort.com.
