The Beer Poker Tour is back at the Card Casino Samorin near Bratislava. Through October 25, €200,000 in prize money awaits in the €225 + 25 Main Event, and plenty of side events and side action will ensure top-notch entertainment.
The Beer Poker Tour, Card Poker Series, and Skill Poker Masters are the three festivals still on the schedule at Card Casino this year. The Beer Poker Tour made its debut in Samorin in June, attracting an international field of 907 entrants. The format has been tweaked slightly for the second edition; the buy-in is now set at €225 + 25, with at least €200,000 in the prize pool.
Today is another big satellite day before the main event kicks off tomorrow. There are 100,000 chips and 30-minute levels; the top 12.5% qualify for Sunday’s final. In the first two flights (1A and 1B), there’s a chip leader bonus (€2,000/€1,000), and multiple qualifications are rewarded (€1,000/€2,500/€5,000). All remaining players from the flights will advance to Sunday’s final. €200,000 (including 5 x €1,500 WSOPC tickets) is up for grabs.
Side events are also a must—the €500 + 50 High Roller (€20,000 GTD/100k/30′) will be held on Friday, and on Saturday, the €50 + 50 + 15 Turbo PKO (50k/20′) will provide some variety. On Saturday, there’s the €85 + 15 Turbo (50k/20′), and on Sunday, the €130 + 20 Mystery Bounty (€10,000 GTD/100k/20′) adds some variety.
As always, in addition to the tournaments, there are cash games starting at €1/3 NLH and €2/2 PLO, along with several (casino) promotions. You can find all the details on the full lineup at cardcasino.sk.
