The shot clock has become an indispensable part of many casinos and festivals. This week, the timer will be used for the first time at Banco Bratislava during the €200 Israeli Federation Cup #2 (€300,000 GTD).

When the first Israeli Federation Cup was held at Banco in January 2026, a staggering 2,290 entries shattered the €250,000 prize pool guarantee. And that’s why the prize pool for the second edition is now at least €300,000. From October 6 to 12, the €200 NLH Main Event will be played with a 100,000 starting stack and 30- to 60-minute levels. But it’s not just the higher prize pool guarantee that’s new—the shot clock is as well. Until now, it hadn’t been used at Banco, but the Main Event will now be played with the short action time for the first time. Whether the shot clock will remain in place for other tournaments remains to be seen; the IFC is serving as a test run.
As usual, the Main Event features numerous flights, offering plenty of options. This, in turn, leaves room for the many side events, as there are quite a few of them this week. The buy-ins are kept moderate; the most expensive tournament of the week is the €450 + 50 High Roller (€20,000 GTD/100k/30′), which will be played on Thursday and Friday. As always, Banco isn’t just about intense tournament action—you can also look forward to some hot cash game action.
As usual, cash games start with blinds of €1/3 NLH and €2/2 PLO. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Marketing Manager Jan Packa (in English); you can find all further details at bancocasino.sk.
