Cooper Feltham has won the $1,100 WPT Prime Championship at the World Poker Tour Australia.
Since 10 September, the WPT has been at The Star Sydney Casino. Thirty‑five events are scheduled, and one of the big highlights, the $1,100 WPT Prime Championship, has now been decided.
A total of 1,036 entries were collected. 131 players made the money and shared $959,844 in prize money. Nine Australians made it to the Final Table. The title, the trophy, and $133,837 went to Cooper Feltham.
On the final hand, his compatriot Ling Liu shoved preflop all‑in with 
. Feltham called with the dominated hand 
, but hit the wheel on the board 
. Ling Liu collected $114,833 as runner‑up.
The next big tournament, the $3,550 WPT Australia Championship, starts tomorrow. Three flights are scheduled, with Day 2 played on Sunday. The final table will be played next Wednesday.
