WSOP 2026: Adriaan Jacobs is the Deepstack Champion

Adriaan Jacobs has won the $1 Deepstack Championship of the World Series of Poker 2026 in Las Vegas. The South African took home $1,817 in prize money and secured his first bracelet.Another bracelet of WSOP 2026 has been awarded. Only five players returned for the final of the $1 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack Championship (Event #78). The decision was made within two hours.The first to hit the rails was Xingwei Chen ($1,876). In a 3-Way All-In, the Chinese player went all-in with , facing Adriaan Jacobs with and Seong Han with . Han collected both the side pot and the main pot, while Chen was out.Shortly after, Paul Merlette with hit the board and sent Junichi Murakami ($1,555) with to the rails. About 80 minutes after the start, they were already in heads-up.Seong Han ($1,723) led on the turn and made a call when Adriaan Jacobs check-raised him all-in. Han revealed , while Jacobs showed for top set, and the river officially eliminated Han.

The heads-up concluded after about 30 minutes. Paul Merlette ($1,231) played with on the flop and went all-in with a 3-bet when Adriaan Jacobs announced a raise. Adriaan Jacobs called with and hit the flush on the turn . Merlette could only hope for a full house, but the river was a blank.
