40 players have survived the opening day of the $1k Limit HE of the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas. Jeremy Ausmus and Daniel Negreanu are among the big stacks. Jeremy Trojand is in 36th place.The $1,000 Limit Hold’em Championship (Event #38) of WSOP 2026 is a freezeout. On the first day, 87 participants entered. However, players can still use the first blind level of day 2, allowing the prize pool to be further increased.Chad Eveslage, Anthony Zinno, Ronnie Bardah, Renan Bruschi, Dario Sammartino, Joao Vieira, Bryce Yockey, Eli Elezra, Terrence Chan, and Dennis Weiss had their bracelet hunt end prematurely.After ten levels, play was wrapped up. Jeremy Ausmus (319,000) leads the field. Daniel Negreanu (182,000) currently sits in 8th place. Jeremy Trojand (57,000) from Germany is among the short stacks in the field.
