WSOP 2026: Daniel Rezaei Off to a Good Start in the $100k High Roller

The $1,000 NLH High Roller Event #36 of the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas is underway, with 31 players remaining from 67 entries on Day 1. Daniel Rezaei had the best start among the DACH players.600,000 chips and ten 60-minute levels were the starting conditions on Day 1, with late registration open until the end of Level 12. 67 entries were recorded on Day 1, including Christopher Nguyen, Bernhard Binder, Matthias Eibinger, Leon Sturm, Christoph Vogelsang, and Thomas Mühlöcker, who all had to hit the rail at least once and couldn’t pack any chips.Only 31 players were left at the end, with Ren Lin taking the lead with 3,175,000 chips ahead of Galen Hall (2,520,000). Daniel Rezaei sits in 8th place with 1,650,000 chips, while Samuel Mullur (24/785,000) and Manuel Fritz (25/660,000) are also back for Day 2.Play will continue at blinds of 10k/25k/25k in Level 11, with late registration still open for two levels – and many max late registrations are expected.
