When Felix “xflixx” Schneiders and the GRND Community come together to play poker, a full house is guaranteed. Yesterday, the tournament kicked off with the €40 + 20 + 10 Kroko Cup, starting players with 50,000 chips and 15-minute blind levels. The guaranteed prize pool of €10,000 was easily surpassed with 155 entrants and 61 re-entries. A total of €12,960 was added to the pot, from which €4,320 was paid out in bounties, and €8,640 was distributed among the top 32 places. €65 was given for the min-cash, and the winner was thrilled to take home €1,790.xflixx himself cashed but had to depart in 14th place. The last four players agreed to a deal rather than play down to a winner, and they battled for €240 and the trophy. It was Torsten Bierholdt who prevailed, claiming victory with €1,387 + €140 in bounties. Fritz, as the runner-up, took home €1,040 + €180; Dominik Wehnhardt received €1,242 + €120 for third place; and Binja grabbed €1,111 + €180 for fourth place.
Today is heating up with the €70 + 7 Seven Always Comes (€7,777 GTD/30k/15′), followed by the €60 + 40 + 20 Hot PKO (€25,000 GTD/20k/20′) to amp up the excitement. Paul Panther will be live streaming starting today—tune in at 10 PM for all the action.
In cash games, blinds start at €1/2 NLH or €2/2 PLO, as usual. For updates on the GCA Poker offerings, check out the Facebook group; all the details can be found at grandcasinoas.eu. By the way, with the €25 Blue All-in Experience, you’re essentially getting a daily worry-free package—unlimited buffet, soft drinks, beer, wine, and coffee. Plus, points for cash back.
