WSOP 2026: Stephen Hubbard snags the Lowball Bracelet

Stephen Hubbard has won the $1,500 NL Deuce-to-Seven Lowball of the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas. The American took home $1,819 in prize money and received his first bracelet.The $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw (Event #12) of the WSOP 2026 went to a showdown with six players remaining. Early in the first blind level, there were two open seats. Philip Jaffe ($1,219) missed his draw with 7-6-5-3 against Gabriel Paul, who did not break his Perfect Ten, and was eliminated. Anthony Lamps ($1,672) also missed his draw with 8-4-3-2 and was eliminated against Paul’s Pat T-8.In the second blind level, Timothy Wong ($1,846) became the next to go. Gabriel Paul opened, Dylan Smith announced all-in, and Wong called all-in short-stacked. Paul called with a Perfect Nine, Smith failed to fill up with 8-7-3-2, and Wong was drawing dead with T-4-3.The heads-up was reached in the third blind level. Dylan Smith ($1,456) went all-in with a 3-bet of 5-4-3-2, Stephen Hubbard called with 8-7-5-3 and drew a 4. Smith hit a Ten and had to hit the rails.

The direct duel lasted just over an hour. Gabriel Paul took the lead for a while but couldn’t close it out. The pivotal moment came when Stephen Hubbard went all-in with a Perfect Jack against 7-6-5-2. Paul paired the Deuce and was left short-stacked afterward.Shortly after, Gabriel Paul ($1,957) went all-in with T-8-7-2 against 8-7-6-3. Stephen Hubbard ($1,819) paired the 3, but Paul also turned a pair with the 8 and was beaten.
