The CHF 130 + 20 Closer Event (CHF 10,000 GTD) of the One Day Challenge at
Grand Casino Liechtenstein (GCLI) concluded yesterday, May 25, with a deal among the last six players.

The last tournament of the One Day Challenge had a prize pool of CHF 10,000, with 40,000 chips in play and 20-minute levels. 50 entries along with 18 re-entries were still not enough to meet the guarantee, thus additional money was added for the players. The CHF 10,000 was distributed without deductions to the top eight places, with the winner set to receive CHF 3,000.There was an initial deal on the bubble that awarded CHF 150 as a consolation prize. When only six players remained, they agreed on a deal, splitting the remaining prize pool evenly. This allowed Thor 59, Roo 69, Giordano Longhino, Top Secret, Nobody, and Gabriel Ammerer to each take home CHF 1,465.Tonight, players will return to the tables with the usual CHF 80 + 10 Early Bird (CHF 3,000 GTD/30k/20′). The next festival is already scheduled from June 11 to 21 with “The Core Festival.” As for the cash games, they will continue daily starting from CHF 1/3 NLH or CHF 2/2 PLO.
