World Poker Tour: WPT Australia Festival at The Star Sydney

From September 10 to 30, the World Poker Tour will stop at The Star Sydney. Highlights of the WPT Australia Festival include the A$1,500 WPT Prime Event and the A$1,000 WPT Championship.On June 1, the WPT will announce the full schedule for the second half of the season. Until then, teasers for major events are being released. A press release has now announced the WPT Australia Festival.The complete schedule is not yet available, but with the A$1,500 WPT Prime Australia (€920, September 17-22) and the A$1,000 WPT Australia Championship (€3,060; September 24-30), the most important tournaments have already been set.“We are very excited to return for another WPT Australia Festival at The Star Sydney. Australia remains one of the most passionate poker regions in the world, and we look forward to welcoming players from all around the world as we crown the next WPT champion,” said Adam Pliska (CEO of the WPT).However, those wanting to play in the World Poker Tour don’t have to travel down under. In August, the WPT Cyprus will be held at Chamada Prestige Hotel & Spa. Details will follow soon.
