Starting December 2, 2026, it’s that time of year again: The WSOP is drawing the world’s best poker players to the Caribbean. Twenty bracelets and $120 million await the participants. In addition, there will be numerous side events and satellites. But for the players and their guests, WSOP Paradise offers much more than just tournament poker. After playing and staying at the Atlantis Resort & Casino last year, this year’s event will be held at the luxurious Baha Mar Resort. And this “upgrade” has a lot to offer.
The Baha Mar, comprising the three hotels “Grand Hyatt Baha Mar,” “SLS Baha Mar,” and “Rosewood Baha Mar,” is located on the famous, approximately 900-meter-long Cable Beach in Nassau and ranks among the leading resorts in the Caribbean. It combines three luxury hotels with pristine beaches, pools, restaurants, entertainment, recreational activities, a casino, shopping, and a water park. Guests can also enjoy free water sports activities such as stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, hammocks, floating loungers, and inflatable mats.
For those who prefer to spend their time by the pool, there are over 15 tropical-themed pools, including three infinity pools and an exclusive beach club. Baha Bay, a 15-hectare water park, offers another 10 pools and a variety of attractions. Resort guests have unlimited access to Baha Bay during their stay. If you’re feeling hungry or thirsty afterward, you’ll find everything your heart desires at 45 restaurants, bars, and lounges. The culinary offerings range from casual poolside and beachfront restaurants to fine-dining establishments featuring internationally renowned chefs.
Of course, there are also plenty of opportunities to “take a break” from time at the poker tables with some sports. Baha Mar is home to the Royal Blue Golf Club, an 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. The resort also features the John McEnroe Tennis Center, which includes tennis and pickleball courts as well as an 18-hole mini-golf course. Basketball, bocce, and croquet are also available. Furthermore, the Baha Mar fitness center offers a wide variety of equipment and classes for its guests.
Baha Mar is also home to over 30 shops that combine internationally renowned luxury brands with products from local Bahamian artisans. For players looking for additional gaming fun away from the WSOP tournament area, the Baha Mar Casino offers over 1,000 slot machines, 119 live gaming tables featuring 18 different games, and a sports betting area. At the ESPA and SENSE spas, guests can take a break from the hustle and bustle with a variety of wellness and spa treatments.
