The 2026 WSOP Circuit season is actually still in full swing. Nevertheless, the World Series of Poker is announcing the first dates for next year ahead of schedule. And the WSOP C will make its first stop in Lyon from January 3 to 12, 2027. Over the course of ten days, nine WSOP C rings will be contested at the Pasino Grand La Tour-de-Salvagny. The highlight of the festival will be the €1,500 Main Event.
The inaugural event is being organized by Groupe Partouche in collaboration with Texapoker. The nine rings will be contested in various tournaments, with the schedule ranging from a €300 event to a €2,500 High Roller. In addition to classic No-Limit Hold’em tournaments, the lineup includes a Mystery Bounty, a Knockout, a Seniors Event, an Omaha tournament, and a High Roller. The Mini Main Event and the Main Event each feature four starting days, while the Mystery Bounty is scheduled to have three flights.
As Event #6, the €1,500 Main Event will, of course, be the big highlight. Players will start with 50,000 chips, and four starting flights are scheduled. Those who prefer higher buy-ins can look forward to the €2,500 High Roller—the festival’s most expensive ring event. Participants will start with 250,000 chips. At the other end of the spectrum are the €300 Mini Main Event and the €300 Omaha Event.
