WSOP 2026: Jerome Neppl wins the first bracelet of the summer

At the World Series of Poker 2026 at Horseshoe & Paris Las Vegas, the bracelet in the $1 No-Limit Hold’em Employees Event was awarded. Jerome Neppl got to put on the gold bracelet.In the $1 Employees (Event #3) of the WSOP 2026, 136 remaining players returned. All were already in the money, so the tables filled up quickly. There was even one player from our region, Lennart Hennig.The German started with a top 10 stack but had to bow out in 22nd place. The end for the videographer came with against the queens of Michael Schlittler. Lennart Hennig took home a prize of $1,083.In the 12th blind level of the day, there was a redraw for the provisional final table. Shortly thereafter, Hunter Payne ($1,801) was sent to the rails with top pair against Skyler Halama’s flushed flop. Halama then hit a queen with against , sending Jessica Odom ($1,828) away.The next stack was also taken by Skyler Halama. This time, the American sent Armando Viramontes Serna ($1,247) to the rails with queens against ace-king. 5th place went to Antony Diep ($1,235), who missed the board with against Sean Hamrick’s .A little over an hour passed until the next chair was cleared. In a 3-way all-in, Andre Welt ($1,052) departed with against Michael Schlittler’s . Schlittler also won the side pot against Jerome Neppl’s . Before the blinds were raised again, Nicholas Baldev ($1,098) ran his into Jerome Neppl’s aces.Then it was Michael Schlittler’s ($1,988) turn to exit. Schlittler was all-in preflop with against Sean Hamrick’s and Jerome Neppl’s . His opponents checked through the board , and pocket sixes were good enough.In the 16th blind level of the day, they reached heads-up. Skyler Halama ($1,678) went all-in preflop with against Jerome Neppl, who hit the board for a full house with .Jerome Neppl started with the lead, but Sean Hamrick didn’t give up easily and fought back several times. In the end, however, it would not be enough. After about 90 minutes in the bracelet duel, Sean Hamrick ($1,680) went all-in with a 3-bet holding . Jerome Neppl ($1,083) called with and hit the board to win the title.
