From 2 to 11 January, the World Poker Tour returns to Taiwan. Another WPT event has been announced for August 2027.
The January festival will be played at the Asia Poker Arena of the CTP. The series will be presented in collaboration with PokerTalk. The full schedule isn’t available yet, but the WPT Prime Taiwan Championship runs from 7 to 11 January. The buy‑in is around $1.100 (TWD 35k), with roughly $933,500 (TWD 30M) guaranteed.

The World Poker Tour will travel to Taiwan twice next year. There isn’t much information yet about the second stop. Only that this WPT event will be played from 12 to 23 August, and that both the name and format are still to be announced.
