From October 12 to 18, 2026, the Vamos Poker Tour (VPT) will make its debut at the Orenes Gran Casino Murcia. The poker festival in Spain promises nine tournaments with a guaranteed total prize pool of 250,000 euros. In addition to the Main Event, the High Roller, and the Warm-Up, the VPT Squad Battle will be a major highlight. In this team competition, participants can work together to win a trip to the next VPT festival in Sofia.
Among the highlights of the Vamos Poker Tour (VPT) in Murcia are, of course, the €350 Main Event, the €700 High Roller, and the €175 Warm-Up. However, the VPT Squad Battle promises a unique take on team poker.
In this competition, teams consisting of a captain and three other members compete against one another. Points are awarded based on the results in the VPT tournaments: As soon as a team member reaches a paid-place finish in a tournament, the corresponding points are added to the squad’s total score. The captain’s points are multiplied by a factor of 1.20. Each player may belong to only one squad. The winners of the Squad Battle will receive a package worth 3,000 euros for the next VPT event, taking place November 2–8, 2026, in Sofia.
