Triton SHRS Jeju II 2026: Alex Anton Denies Artur Martirosian the Turbo Victory

The action was even faster yesterday in the $30k NLH Turbo (#9) event of the 2026 Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Jeju II, where Alex Anton defeated Artur Martirosian to claim the trophy and $577,000 in prize money.

Triton tournaments are generally not deep and are geared toward action. The Turbo event moves even faster, but there were still 70 entries, bringing the prize pool to $2,100,000. Once again, Ren Lin was eliminated on the bubble; this time, he went out empty-handed against Stephen Chidwick with .

Daniel Rezaei was the only remaining DACH player; he had to settle for the min-cash of $52,000. Jesse Lonis didn’t fare any better, and so nine players made it to the final table.

At this point, Stephen Chidwick held a narrow chip lead over Adrian Mateos, but neither of them would go on to win. Chen Mingcong was the first to be eliminated at the final table, falling to Winfred Yu with . Yu’s joy, however, lasted only one orbit; he was then eliminated with against Adrian Mateos’s . Mikita Badziakouski ran his 4s straight into Artur Martirosian’s aces.

Alisson Piekazewicz managed to escape elimination several times, but Byron Kaverman was the one who had to say goodbye. He had already lost a lot of chips to Artur Martirosian, managed a brief comeback, but was ultimately eliminated with his 4s against Artur’s from Artur. It was Artur Martirosian who then sent Adrian Mateos packing with against .

Alex Anton then doubled up with against Artur’s , who in turn doubled up against Stephen Chidwick immediately afterward. This left Stephen with only a small stack, which Anton took with against .

But then it was also over for Alisson Piekazewicz; he was eliminated ultra-short-stacked with against Artur’s . This left Artur Martirosian with 12 BBs in heads-up play against Alex Anton with 16 BBs. And yet there were still a few coin flips before Alex Anton took all the chips and celebrated winning over $577,000 along with his first trophy; Artur walked away with $411,000.
