Triton Poker SHR Montenegro: Leon Sturm Leads the $100k NLH Main Event

With a lot of action, yesterday saw the start of the $1,000 NLH Main Event (#10) of the Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro at the Maestral Resort & Casino. Leon Sturm secured the chip lead after Day 1, with late registration closing today as Day 2 begins.Leon Sturm leads the Main EventThe $1k Main Event also featured a top-caliber field, with strong representation from the DACH region. A total of 93 entries and 49 re-entries were recorded over the ten levels of Day 1. The action was intense, leaving only 73 players remaining. Among those who failed to bag chips at the end of the day were Daniel Rezaei, Sebastian Gähl, Thomas Mühlöcker, Matthias Eibinger, Christopher Nguyen, and Tobias Schwecht. Artur Martirosian, Danny Tang, Emilien Pitavy, and Richard Yong also couldn’t finish Day 1 successfully.Day 1 was much more successful for Leon Sturm, who took the clear lead with 1,370,000 chips. Tom Fuchs also made it into the top 10 with 862,000 chips, along with Samuel Mullur (826,000). Overall, the DACH players are well positioned for Day 2:
