In September, the Italian Series of Poker (ISOP) 2026/27 season kicked off in the PokerStars Live Room at the Casinò di Campione. The second stop on the festival schedule is now set for December 9–14. Highlights this time around include the ISOP Main Event with a €500 buy-in, the €700 All Stars tournament, and several championship tournaments, which will also focus on the seasonal Player of the Year rankings.
The ISOP Main Event is the centerpiece of the festival. This classic tournament will be held from December 10 through 14 and features a €500 buy-in. The starting days are spread across four flights: Day 1A on Thursday, Day 1B on Friday, Day 1C, and an additional Fast Flight on Saturday. Day 2 follows on Sunday, December 13, before the final day takes place on Monday. In addition to the Main Event, the schedule features several tournaments with their own championship titles. The Sviten Championship kicks off the program as early as Thursday with a buy-in of €200.
On Friday, December 11, the Omaha Main is on the schedule with a buy-in of €300. Also on this day, the Friday Party POY Championship will be held, with a buy-in of €150. Saturday offers another highlight with the All Stars. The No-Limit Hold’em tournament costs €700, making it one of the most expensive events at the ISOP Festival. The schedule is rounded out by the Mixed Championship with a €200 buy-in and the Saturday Night event for €150. On Sunday, the Mystery POY Championship follows. The Mystery Bounty tournament has a buy-in of €250. Also on Sunday, the Sunday Evening POY will be played with a €150 buy-in.
On the final day of the festival, Monday, December 14, two more tournaments are on the schedule. The 6-Max POY Championship will be held as a No-Limit Hold’em tournament with six players per table and a buy-in of €200. The festival will conclude with the Goodbye ISOP Championship, which has a buy-in of €150. The POY events are part of the Italian Series of Poker’s seasonal rankings. In addition to the individual tournament titles, players will also compete for points toward the overall standings. The season’s top players will secure a spot on the Italian Poker Team, which will compete in Las Vegas in July 2027.
The venue is once again the Casinò di Campione in Campione d’Italia, located directly on Lake Lugano. The ISOP and PokerStars have extended their partnership for the 2026–27 season. As a result, the PokerStars Live Room will remain the home of the ISOP. The previous season awarded nearly two million euros in prize money. More information can be found on the ISOP website.
